On the 26th of September we went up to, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and did a family history day, it took us about 2 1/2 hours to get there we saw were my great Grandparents ( on my dad's side) got married, Were my Grandma used to ride her horse in the bluffs, were my Grandma was born, and then the different houses she grew up in, my great great grandparents house, were my great grandpa used to work, were a ton of the stories I've heard about happened, and were my Great grandparents moved onto a huge lake and my dad spent every summer at when he was a little kid.
And my Great grandma and great great grandma and other extended family are buried. Allison was named after our great grandma, Opal Mae Allison.
And also Scottsbluff is were the Mormon and Organ Trails go through so we got to walk to monument and see the wagon wheel marks, it was way cool, when we were on ton of the huge bluffs the wind was like a hundred miles an hour, it was kinda scary almost being blown off. :D
We got home around 8pm so the whole trip took us exactly 12 hours, it was so much fun, I learned so much more about my family history, and i also learned that Nebraska isn't just flat! It has really big cliffs! :D
Here's some Pictures!
