We thought we would start by telling everyone what is going on in our life at this time. last Monday the 25th of July my family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. for the past 2 months we have been packing boxes and getting ready to move and now it is actually here.
We have had a couple people ask Us what we are going to miss most when we move, and the answer is always the people! The friends we have made here and the people we have met are so amazing! and we hope we never loose contact with any of them! this move is by far the hardest we have ever gone through and a huge part of that we think is cause we are older and our friends are so awesome!
On Saturday the 23rd our stake in Indiana had a pioneer day picnic and it was the last time we are going to see a lot of our friends for probably a long time. since Colorado is so far from Indiana we don't know how often we are going to visit and so it is really scary not knowing when we will see them again.
So Trek and then the picnic were both really hard saying good bye but we just hope and pray that we will make as good of friends here in Colorado.
So here are a couple of pictures from the picnic.

"It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!"

So on Friday the 22nd of July Molly and I went to the Fair with our friend Norene.
We saw lots of animals and just had a great time talking and laughing.
While we were there we saw and held the cutest goat in the world! we named him Chester. (see pictures below.) It was tons of fun.
So here are some pictures from that.

Pioneer Trek!

On the 19th - 21st of July my stake was combined with the Toledo Ohio stake for pioneer trek.
It was so much fun!!
I had an amazing family and we all became so close and felt like we actually were family. we had five girls and four boys plus our ma and pa. only one of my brothers really did anything and he worked none stop and we had to force him to take breaks, he was great, my other brothers we had to force just to help push our own hand cart, but all us girls were hard workers so it worked out OK.
The first day was the longest and hardest but super fun, but the whole week was about a 100 degrees plus humidity so it was 105. so we were all sweating like crazy, and tons of people were getting heat exhaustion and dehydration, and were passing out, but only two people had to be taken to the doctors! :D but most people were fine after a little bit.
I never got sick which i am very happy about.
The first day we did about 7 miles. the second day all the men had to leave for the "Mormon battalion" early in the morning so the girls had to do it all by them selves for the "Woman's pull".
It was a lot harder without the boys but we did pretty good.
One point a few of the family's mine included got lost and had to go through this huge mud hole about a foot deep, a lot of the girls were loosing their shoes and getting stuck, that wasn't to fun, we went through and then had to turn around and go back through, so we were all tired after that.
at the end of the woman's pull we had to go down a huge hill and then up the finial hill and on the finial hill all the young men were lined up on the sides had couldn't help they had to just watch, a lot of the boys were crying because they really wanted to help us girls up the hill. it was way spiritual.
We hiked about 5 miles that second day.
On the third day, they cut it super short because of the heat so we only hiked until 10am.
after we made it to "Zion" we all had to say our good byes, that was one of the saddest thing i have done in my whole life!!!! because with moving ( We will put another post up about moving) i don't know when i will ever see any of my friends in Indiana again, i didn't know i had so many friends there but walking back to get all my stuff i had to stop like every two feet to give someone else a hug, i was crying for two hours straight while saying good bye.
But all in all trek was amazing and i would definitely go again if i get the chance.
Thank you to my friends in Indiana for being such amazing friends!

Trek!

Hey everyone! molly and i decided since we both had totally different experiences at trek that we would both post something so here is mine.
On Tuesday the 19th of July my stake did trek. It Was absolutely fantastic! i had an amazing experience!
The first day we were all put in to families. in my family i only really new one of the girls the other people i had maybe talked to a couple times or i didn't even know. it was my stake and the Toledo, OH stake so some of them i had never even met.
My family was amazing! i can't even begin to express how awesome they were. we all got along really good and by the end we all felt like family and that we had known each other a lot longer then just 2 days.
One the first day we had to go up and down tons of hills in the middle of all the trees and we had to go through deep mud. some of my trek sisters lost shoes in the mud and i almost did. it was crazy! One of my favorite parts of trek was the Woman's pull where just us girls had to pull hand carts up a steep hill all alone while the guys just stood on the edges of the hill and watched. they couldn't help us or do anything. it was such a testimony building experience. that night the testimony meeting was amazing!
My least favorite part was that it was 100 degrees plus humidity and so it was 105 degrees while we were pulling hand carts up hills while wearing dresses and aprons! so as you can imagine i was sweating like crazy. i swear i sweat more in those 2 days then i have in my whole life put together! it was disgusting. anyways...
On the last day we got to Zion. and after that it was time to say good bye to everyone. Just in case you haven't heard my family is moving to Fort Collins, Colorado (well we have now actually moved but at that time we hadn't.) so as you can imagine it was really hard. i was crying for like the last two hours of trek cause i was saying goodbye to all my friends. it was so hard because i have made tons of amazing friends in Indiana and it was so hard to leave them.
But all in all Trek was awesome! I would go back in a minuet. and it made me appreciate what the pioneers did so much more now!

We got to see all the historic sites there like, Walden Pond, Concord and Lexington and we walked the Freedom trail and played on Revere beach, at the beach we watched the national sand sculpting contest, which was awesome!
On the drive back from Boston we stopped in Palmyra NY and Kirtland OH. We walked through the Sacred grove and looked at all the church history sites. it was amazing.
